【A（Sports及Meet及英语作文）】Last week, our school held a sports meet, which was one of the most exciting events of the year. Students from all grades participated in various competitions, and the atmosphere on the field was full of energy and enthusiasm.

The event started early in the morning with an opening ceremony. Teachers and students gathered on the playground, and the headmaster gave a short speech to encourage everyone to take part in the activities with a positive attitude. After that, the races and other games began.

There were many events, such as the 100-meter race, long jump, relay race, and even a tug-of-war competition. I took part in the 4x100-meter relay race with my classmates. Although we were not the fastest team, we tried our best and finished in the middle of the group. It was a great experience because it taught us the importance of teamwork and perseverance.

In addition to the physical competitions, there were also some fun games for the audience. Many students cheered for their classmates, and the whole school became a big family during that day.

By the end of the day, the results were announced, and medals were given to the winners. However, what mattered most was the spirit of the competition and the joy of participating. The sports meet not only helped us stay active but also brought us closer together.
