The first week of the new term has come to an end, and it feels like time is flying by. This week was filled with excitement, challenges, and some new discoveries. As I stepped back into the classroom, I was greeted by familiar faces and a few new classmates who brought fresh energy to our group.
On Monday, we had our first English class of the semester. Our teacher introduced a new topic about environmental protection. It was fascinating to learn how small actions, such as recycling or reducing plastic use, can make a big difference in protecting the planet. The discussion inspired me to think more consciously about my daily habits and how I can contribute to a greener future.
Tuesday was all about teamwork. We were divided into groups for a project on storytelling. Each team had to create a short story based on a given theme. My group brainstormed ideas late into the afternoon, and it was amazing to see everyone’s creativity shine through. By the end of the day, we had a solid outline ready to present to the class.
Wednesday brought a math quiz, which was both nerve-wracking and rewarding. Although I struggled with one question, I managed to figure it out with the help of my notes. It reminded me that perseverance is key when facing difficulties.
Thursday was a bit calmer, but still productive. We reviewed last week's lessons in preparation for an upcoming test. It felt good to revisit what we had learned and ensure everything was clear before moving forward.
Finally, Friday marked the end of another busy week. After school, I joined a club meeting where we discussed plans for upcoming events. It was great to connect with friends outside of regular classes and share common interests.
Overall, this week was a wonderful start to the new term. I learned new things, made progress in my studies, and reconnected with old friends while meeting new ones. I’m looking forward to seeing what the rest of the semester holds!
I hope you enjoyed reading my weekly journal entry!
