【五一假期英语作文小学优秀作文】The May Day holiday is one of the most exciting times for students. It usually lasts for seven days, and during this time, many people go on trips, visit their families, or just relax at home.

This year, I had a wonderful May Day holiday. On the first day, I went to the park with my parents. We had a picnic under the big tree, and I played football with my cousin. It was very fun. The weather was sunny and warm, and the sky was blue. I felt very happy.

On the second day, I stayed at home and did my homework. I finished all the tasks that I had left from school. After that, I read a book about animals. I learned a lot about different kinds of animals and their habits. It was interesting.

On the third day, I visited my grandparents. They live in the countryside, and it was nice to be there. I helped them water the plants and feed the chickens. My grandpa taught me how to plant vegetables. I enjoyed every moment with them.

During the rest of the holiday, I spent time with my friends. We watched movies, played games, and talked about our plans for the new term. It was a great way to relax and have fun.

The May Day holiday is not only a time to rest but also a time to learn and enjoy life. I hope next year I can have even more fun during the holiday. I will remember this holiday forever.
